In 2015 our President, Maxwell Wilmarth, prepared to return home to the United States from New Zealand after operating some of the world’s best geothermal fields. He was struck by the similarities between the combination of the North Island’s prolific geothermal resources and towering redwood trees in Whakarewarewa Forest, and Northern California’s gigantic geothermal field at The Geysers and native redwood trees in Armstrong Woods. Redwood Applied Science was founded to serve the geothermal industry with expert advice on all aspects of geothermal power investment, exploration, development, and operations.
