RAS President Maxwell Wilmarth is a geologist with 20+ years professional experience. He has held key positions in a wide range of geothermal projects in the exploration, development, and operational phases on five continents and in numerous countries.

Mr. Wilmarth has extensive experience in the management of geothermal teams tasked with supporting greenfield and brownfield developments and high-valuation investment decisions.

He has performed original research on geothermal resource capacity estimation, presented at numerous geothermal conferences, and published in peer-reviewed publications on a variety of topics. He regularly teach geothermal courses and workshops.
